International defence and security community will meet again in Prague within the FUTURE FORCES FORUM 2024. This year's edition will take place from 16 to 18 October at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE exhibition centre.
The programme will be attended by the President of the Czech Republic, the Minister of Defence, the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces and foreign delegations from more than 60 countries, represented by Ministers of Defence, Deputy Ministers, Chiefs of the General Staff, Force Commanders, Ambassadors and Defence Attachés.
The professional public, members of the armed, security and rescue forces, representatives of government institutions, state administration and local governments, academia, industry, research and development are cordially invited to participate in the programme, which includes international exhibition of defence and security technologies and expert panels focused on military and security topics.
INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
Over 320 exhibitors from 35 countries will present their products and services in six exhibition halls. Companies from Denmark, France, India, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine will also participate in national pavilions. The thematic sections are located in the Cyber Pavilion, the C2 (Command & Control) Pavilion or the Innovation Pavilion.
The largest exhibitors include the Czechoslovak Group (Tatra Trucks, Excalibur Army, Tatra Defence Vehicle, MSM Group, Fiocchi Munizioni, Retia, Karbox and others), the Military Technical Institute together with the French manufacturer of military and special vehicles ARQUUS, Glomex Military Supplies together with Canadian armoured vehicle manufacturer Roshel, BAE Systems, autonomous helicopter manufacturer LIAZ, AERO Vodochody, LOM Praha, VOP CZ together with Thales Australia presenting the Bushmaster armoured vehicle, or Pramacom, SIAMIDIS, GORE and Direct Action.
A wide portfolio of small arms and accessories will be presented by LUVO Firearms, CANiK, Perun Arms, world-famous manufacturers Carl Walther, FN HERSTAL, Desert Tech, Lapua and RUAG, or the American manufacturers BARRETT and Daniel Defense.
The latest simulation and training technologies, Air Force and Land Forces equipment, unmanned and autonomous vehicles, small arms and heavy weapons, personal protective equipment and tactical gear, command and control systems, communications, cyber security solutions, special forces equipment and much more will be showcased across the exhibition. The Ministry of Defence and the Czech Armed Forces, Police, Fire Rescue Service, Customs Administration and Prison Service will present the latest armaments and equipment.
The interactive programme includes presentations and live demonstrations by exhibitors, a tactical training area for armed forces and special units, demonstrations of decontamination equipment and field medicine, a training range with UTM non-lethal ammunition, a Live Hacking Zone, a Cyber Escape Room, and the third annual KYBERNOID high school robotics competition organised by the University of Defence.
LESSONS LEARNED FROM UKRAINE
In these still difficult times for Ukraine, participation has been confirmed by a number of Ukrainian exhibitors, representatives of the armed and security forces, crisis management elements and local government units with experience in both direct combat and military-civilian cooperation, crisis management and reconstruction of destroyed infrastructure. The exchange of valuable experience will take place not only within the exhibition, but also during the expert programme.
EXPERT PANELS
In addition to the exhibition, the programme includes over twenty expert panels (conferences, workshops) and NATO working group meetings (NSPA Dismounted Soldier Equipment User Group; MCMedSB CBRN Medical; NAAG Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Capability Group).
The opening strategic panel will address the topic of multi-domain operations, future conflicts and the operational environment. The speakers will be General Philippe LAVIGNE (Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, NATO ACT), Lieutenant General Karel ŘEHKA (Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces), Major General Andrus MERILO (Commander, Estonian Defence Forces), Army General (Ret.) Jiří ŠEDIVÝ (former Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces), and Air Marshal (Ret.) Ian GALE (former Director of Joint Force Development, Strategic Command HQ, UK Ministry of Defence).
Other expert panels will cover Cyber Defence and Security; Command and Control (C2); Battlefield Management System for Dismounted Units; Disruptive Technologies and Innovations; Pilot Training and UAV Operators Training; Military/Crisis Medicine and CBRN; Counter Crime and Counter Terrorism; Homeland Security and Resilience; Space Technologies; and the aforementioned lessons learned from the war in Ukraine.
PARTICIPANTS FROM MORE THAN 60 COUNTRIES
The FFF events are attended by leading representatives of the Government and Parliament of the Czech Republic, representatives of state and local authorities, international organisations, armed, security and rescue forces, R&D centres, universities and industry. Foreign delegations from more than 60 countries have already confirmed their participation this year.

Entry is only open to the professional public aged 18 and over. The professional public can register for free on the event website. On-site admission is charged by 20 EUR.
