SPEEL PRAHA s.r.o., a Czech specialist in advanced avionics systems, will present its latest solutions in head-up displays and flight-data recording at Future Forces Forum 2026. Under the motto “Tailored avionics, smart solutions for a global world,”SPEEL PRAHA combines decades of rigorous R&D and testing with practical, user-focused products for both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
Highlighted product: new digital Head-Up Display PDU-159
The centrepiece of our stand will be the fully digital Head-Up Display system built around the PDU-159 Pilot Display Unit.
PDU-159 is a highly accurate “look-through” HUD with a 25° total field of view, high brightness and excellent readability in demanding light conditions. Its digital raster video provides both symbology and imagery, while the unit:
* interfaces with the on-board Mission Processor MP-39 via a CAN bus for control,
* uses an HD-SDI link for video data transfer,
* offers advanced NVG compatibility thanks to dual-colour backlighting compliant with NVIS Classes A, B and C,
* allows instant switching between day and night modes.
The modular architecture makes the system ideal for both retrofit programmes and new-build fixed wing platforms in combat, training and special-mission roles.
End-to-end data recording and analytics
Alongside the HUD, SPEEL PRAHA will present its wider ecosystem of products:
* Crash-Protected Recorders (CARE) – robust flight, cockpit-voice and video recorders.
* Data acquisition units and sensors for a wide range of platforms.
* AMOS / PANDA data analytics software for flight-data monitoring, safety analysis and mission debriefing.
* Electronic tachographs for rail vehicles, including analysis tools.
All our products are developed and qualified in line with relevant standards (such as MIL-STD-810, RTCA/DO-160, ED-55/56A). With in-house design and manufacturing, we can tailor our systems quickly to match specific customer and platform requirements.
